New Things

Orange-Fennel Salad

The cookbook I got this from has no pictures. What a shame...fennel, mint, red onions, oranges, blood oranges, coriander, orange zest, olive oil, orange juice. And happily, it tasted almost as good as it looked. I'm glad I tried fennel. (I occasionally notice it in the grocery store and think, who the heck buys that? Me, now.) When I went out on a limb and bought mustard greens, it did not go as well, but this experiment was a successful one. Hooray for a new year and new things!
