Chicken-Rice Bake

This one-dish complete meal has served me very well when I need to take a dinner out to another family; a picky eater or two have been surprisingly eager for the recipe. We doubled it last night and took one panful to a friend in need, so I thought I'd post it.

2 c. water
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
1 can green beans, drained or up to 2 c. fresh or frozen as desired
1-2 stalks celery, chopped
1 small can mushrooms, drained or a half dozen or so fresh sliced
1 1/4 c. uncooked rice
2 T. dried minced onions
4-8 pieces of chicken (or pork chops)
paprika or seasoned salt to taste

Heat oven to 375ยบ. Combine all but meat in a 9x13 pan; arrange chicken or pork on top, sprinkle with seasonings. Bake covered for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
