Last night we went to a local ball game, and I threw together a couple boxes of macaroni and cheese with some frozen green beans mixed in, took paper plates, and we ate it in the car.  Sad, I know!  We sat among everyone else enjoying their proverbial Cracker Jacks with mixed feelings.  It smelled so good, but would cost so that's both my meal for the night AND my frugality of the day.  Two-in-one.

(And it was mostly sad not because we ate homemade instead of buying hot dogs there, but because I was running so late that when I brought the pot out from the house, the cheese packet and such weren't even stirred into the noodles, I did that at stoplights on the way.  Saddest of all, and yet, I'm proud.)
