Today would be a great day for a longer, thoughtful post, since I ended up not making any dinner whatsoever last night; unfortunately, that insightful post isn't ready yet.  But you might like to know that we do, in fact, eat convenience foods such as ramen, and that S. is a good sport to come home and find that he'll be cooking for the kids while I rush out the door.
