Angel Food Cake




A quick picture of our most recent birthday special -- our birthday girl Sage didn't request any specific kind of cake, leaving room for me to pull out the tupperware of egg whites I've been amassing in the freezer over the last half-dozen times we've made harira stew.

The whites probably could have been fresher, I expected to get a leetle more height, but it was our first time making angel food and the result certainly went quite well with rich birthday ice cream. My husband and I worked together on the cake, actually, which was also enjoyable.

Happy birthday to our wonderful daughter!
