Conference Recipe

I've been 'missing in action' this week, so to make up for it, here's one of our favorite-yummiest treats. We indulge in cottage cheese croissants every General Conference, and they're the wonderful kind of goodie that takes no particular skill but produces fantastic results. Enjoy!

COTTAGE CHEESE CROISSANTS

2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine ingredients in a medium bowl, shape into a disk, and wrap in plastic.  Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours or overnight.
On a well-floured surface, roll dough out into two 14-inch circles, cut circles into 8 triangles each.  Roll each triangle up, turning ends of roll in to form a crescent.  Place croissants 3 inches apart on a baking sheet, bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees.
Cool, drizzle with a sugar glaze made with 1 c. powdered sugar and 4-5 tsp. milk.
