More lentils with lamb (nicknamed pottage around here), a salad, and a new bread recipe, sourdough multi-grain.  I wanted to try it even though S. has a professed aversion to "nubbly" bread that's tougher to chew, and it was indeed thick and nubbly, but a good high-domed loaf and a nice option to have in my repertoire.  It called for wheat bran which I don't have, so I substituted flax.  Cornmeal, oats, cracked wheat, flax, and whole wheat -- quite the over-the-top health and fiber combination!  We joked that the ingredients sounded like a game of Pit.  And, maybe it's good you have to chew slowly...
